We are looking for someone to lead the growth marketing vertical for all things Core at Ava Labs Marketing Team. This individual will be responsible for the designing and driving programs for growth, onboarding and retention of users into the Avalanche Core application. This particular role will be an integral part of our team’s effort to educate users, deliver delightful experiences, and drive discovery and interaction within the app


  • Direct/develop integrated marketing plan for Core that drives Core App adoption and installs
  • Drive awareness, education, experience, and discovery of Core App
  • Create depth and frequency of engagement with seasoned Web 3 users while creating a frictionless on-ramp for new Web3 users
  • Design and guide strategies around marketing funnels, user journeys, and content merchandising within Core
  • Drive top of funnel awareness and brand policies for top of funnel awareness/brand, mid-funnel analysis/consideration and bottom of funnel acquisition/conversion
  • Report on financial impact/outcomes of spend allocation
  • Define Core growth goals and KPIs
  • Oversee Core Growth Marketing team P/L 
  • Establish team processes as a hands on leader, strategist and individual contributor 
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership and cross functional stakeholders 
  • Interpret, visualize, and conceptualize compelling narratives backed with strong data
  • Learn and effectively utilize new data driven software tools
  • Create initial strategies for Performance Marketing team 
  • Set direction for what type of messaging will/should be used in various channels
  • Process team input/ideas and make final decisions on direction/execution of project goals while ensuring operational excellence


  • 8+ years of performance marketing or product marketing with a focus on user acquisition and/or growth; preferably from a consumer technology organization
  • Prior experience working in high growth startups or rapidly developing industries
  • Track record of success in a marketing leadership role
  • Ability to create an integrated marketing plan for your vertical and execute with cross functional leadership teams
  • Proven ability to drive user acquisition channels and attribution framework implementations
  • Successful track record of marketing technical products for software developers
  • Project management and the ability to lead through influence, not authority
  • Notion 
  • Figma and/or similar wireframing tools
  • Excel and/or Google Sheets 
  • Technical copywriting skills 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid pace of growth/change
  • SQL is a plus

Base Salary Range: $153,200 - $216,000
