Social Content Creator / Storyteller

THE ROLE

You will be responsible to story-tell company-wide contents, producing engaging quality stories across CoinMarketCap main station and Social platforms. We understand how important content is to building a great community — you’ll be at the forefront in crafting everything we work on, and your work will directly impact our success! The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller and culturally-attuned creator.

Overall Responsibilities: 

• Generate high-quality content from scratch - Engaging, informative, and aligning with CoinMarketCap's vision & mission to grow our community 
• Make creative content on all relevant platforms: CoinMarketCap main station, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc
• Ideate and co-create original Web3 and Crypto stories/contents purpose-built for social channels - Turning them into content assets built for CoinMarketCap platforms and audiences
• Conduct competitor analysis for industries' best practices and techniques to continuously improve CoinMarketCap's contents/ stories output 
• Work with external parties, i.e. content creators / influencers to create trendy Web3 contents to engage with community 
• Work internally with Marketing, Content, Production and Product teams to develop content strategies, brainstorm content ideas
• Run A/B tests - experiment and iterate on successful strategies
• Other Contents/ Story-tell marketing related tasks as required

Qualifications

• 5-7 years as an in-house storyteller for company-wide content publish initiatives, preferably within the Web3 space
• At least 2 years experience in the Blockchain/Crypto space is a MUST (as you need to be Crypto-Native to publish Crypto-Content)
• Experience crafting engaging narratives and go-to-market media content strategies for a range of audiences across different channels (Discord, Twitter, Instagram, etc)
• A meme connoisseur and creator
• Demonstrates a clear and concise style of communication, with a creative/fun spin when relevant
• Experience working on a remote team is preferred
• Native or Fluent English language is a MUST
