Job description
Shift Markets was founded in 2009, as a leader in traditional finance and the FX space. Sensing the seismic shifts taking place in the financial industry and recognizing the disruptive power of digital assets, we made it our mission to make these decentralized trends accessible to every business, from market leaders to small retailers.
We are growing quickly, and an opportunity has developed for a Community Manager to focus on day trading products with one of our partners. In this role, you will have a special focus on building a trading community on Discord and engaging with members. You’ll also be creating content across all of our social channels and driving engagement across all platforms.
Responsibilities
• Build a day trading community on Discord and engage with members
• Monitor community feedback and respond to questions
• Develop & implement digital marketing strategies to drive engagement
• Plan & execute digital marketing campaigns
• Monitor performance metrics & adjust strategies as needed
• Research trends and adapt strategies over time
• Create unique content across all our social channels to promote our brand
• Contribute to marketing collateral for the sales team
Requirements
• Strong background in marketing using Discord and other social media channels
• Strong digital marketing skills
• Excellent English grammar & writing skills
• Strong writer and content creator
• Familiarity with day trading
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Creative thinker & problem solver
• Excels in a dynamic, remote based environment
• Strong understanding of trading concepts and foreign exchange markets
Qualifications
• Experience in marketing for trading and exchange products is required
• 2+ years of experience in social media marketing and community management
• Experience with social media tools & analytics
• Bachelor’s degree
This remote-based position requires working 40 hours per week. Compensation depends on experience.
