JOB SUMMARY

The DevOps Team Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of a blockchain platform and the overall software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with a strong background in blockchain technology, DevOps practices, and project management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage and lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining a blockchain platform
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as product owners, blockchain developers, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure that development and delivery processes are optimized and efficient
• Develop and implement DevOps processes and methodologies to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automate workflows for the blockchain platform
• Oversee the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions and cloud-based architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability and security
• Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance and reduce downtime
• Work closely with teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain, DevOps, software development, and cloud computing, identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve team performance and productivity

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in blockchain technology, DevOps, or a related field
• Strong technical background in blockchain technology, automation, and infrastructure management in a blockchain environment
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage complex projects in a blockchain environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code, and containerization in a blockchain environment
• Familiarity with blockchain platforms is a plus, but not a requirement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals.
