The Interchain Foundation (ICF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and developing new technologies and applications in the fields of new open and decentralized software architectures. We believe that open-source, cryptographic, consensus-driven, economic networks hold the key to an anti-fragile global economic system and equal opportunity for all.

ICF is not a traditional non-profit. We are part of a large ecosystem of organizations and companies working to bring the Internet of Blockchains to life through the Cosmos Network. Our role is to resource, support, and promote core product engineering teams to deliver critical high value projects that delight users and transform what is possible with blockchains, and to communicate to the world about the incredible developments happening in Cosmos and the emerging Internet of Blockchains.

This role is open to an experienced Paralegal with a technical background who can deploy their skills in ensuring  our development teams are working effectively and are delivering as per expectations. 

Responsibilities:

• Support teams implementing processes and structure to help define vision, goals, & roadmaps for the different projects
• Contribute to develop project rationales and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects
• Collaborate with the Product Owners for system requirements, planning and deployment
• Drive process to achieve milestones, including arranging meetings with stakeholders
• Manage delivery to agreed quality/time/cost expectations
• Identify key stakeholders and work with them, maintaining appropriate levels of engagement / communication
• Ensure timely reporting in accordance with requirements
• Ensure that risks, issues and interdependencies are effectively managed
• Coordinate the creation and collection of quarterly/yearly budgets, hiring plans for teams working on core infrastructure
• Support and champion the use of any applicable programme and project management standards

Skills / experience:

• Technical or Business degree. A bonus would be if you have Software development experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project or Program Manager
• Experience in project management methodologies, as well as traditional project management
• Experience in working with software development teams, being able to understand and discuss technical solutions
• Report on project portfolio progress, performance, and productivity gains in terms of scope, quality, time, and costs
• Understanding how budget and progress control is handled in agile and classic projects, as well as familiarity with requirements and risk management
• Ability to structure work and think conceptually with proven excellent communication skills
• Strong interest in the technical aspects of core blockchain technology and the social dynamics of decentralized software production
• High level of flexibility, comfortable working in complex multi-party environments and structuring processes to manage this complexity
• Stakeholder management skills with the cross-cultural sensitivity and style adaptable to situations and stakeholder
• Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational, follow-up, time management and administration skills
• Comfortable using Jira,  Github, Google suite, Slack, Zoom
• Organized and detail oriented
• English as a communication language
  

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services industry and affinity to technology and digital solutions and experience in digital assets
• Full-time experience in the Web3/crypto space
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, Proof of Stake, and blockchain interoperability
• Previous experience with common dev tools in the space
